About Solo Mini Shop

I’m Jonathan Ellis Sparrow. I write practical guides for people who make things alone, in a small space, and want to make the same thing well more than once.

[Placeholder: one or two true sentences about what you make and where, e.g. your shop, the storage unit, and why it’s there.]

[Placeholder: how you got started. A real memory from your story answers.]

[Placeholder: one mistake you made that this site helps people avoid.]

What you’ll find here: plain how-to posts on setting up a compact shop, running small batches, and keeping quality consistent. When a tool is worth buying, I’ll say so. When the honest answer is “wait,” “use what you have,” or “buy used,” I’ll say that too, even if it means no affiliate click.

What you won’t find: hype, income promises, or reviews of tools I haven’t used. I don’t have everything figured out, and I’ll say so when I don’t.

Some posts contain affiliate links. See the Affiliate disclosure for how that works.

The book: Solo Mini Shop is the long version of everything on this site.
